DC4 drain holes

On the DC 4 the drain hole is on what side left or right. I started looking in the archives but thought this might be faster. Had tractor in half a few years ago had some else do it and dont know if he left them open I have oil pan open know to put in new rode thought this will be time to open it.

What year? Subtract 4 from the first two digits of the serial # unless the serial # starts with 8. For the serial tag under the battery, the first digit may be partly under the screw. The number is also on the left side of the engine's rear flange just in front of the flywheel.

How many hours have you run this tractor since it was in half. It would only run for less than an hour till it would pump all the oil from the crankcase to the clutch and you would lose oil pressure if the return was plugged.

Return from the clutch housing is on the left side about the same height as the main bearings. If you pull a hand hole cover on the bell housing, or the oil pan you should be able to figure out if it is plugged or not by the oil level in the clutch housing.
