electrolosis leads??

Forgot which way to hook the leads up. Ruined a perfectly good 430 valve cover once because I guessed wrong. Don't want to do it again.
 
Here's what helped me...


POS equals positive, which also in text slang stands for "piece of S*&^".

Tells me what to hook where.

My old Abes News article states to connect the object to be cleaned to the negative/black terminal.

Are you sure about that? I think just the opposite. 'Course a good way to know for sure would be to do a test on something that really doesn't matter and see which direction the bubbles flow.
 

It's simple really. To insure you have them hooked up correctly you look to see which piece is bubbling. The piece you want cleaned is the one that should be bubbling. You can also sometimes see the flow of things, to help you out.

I can never remember either but, the above tip is how I always proceed.
