Flambeau vs Power Red

Is anyone aware of a difference between
Flambeau and Power Red? I'm wondering
if the can was labeled wrong

With the introduction of the 70 series tractors I believe CASE just used Power Red from then on. To my knowledge Flambeau is no longer available. Rod.
 
there is a difference when the two are side by side, if I had a tractor for farm work or a puller and wasn't concerned that it wasn't the exact shade I would use it, if you want an exact Flambeau match then you better get some automotive paint, Ditzler # is 71282
 
Flambeau Red is pretty similar to power red but flambeau red is a little darker. The bottom row is Desert Sunset and Flambeau Red. CNH doesn't offer Flambeau Red anymore. I had mine made with automotive paint. The color code I used for Dupont was B8250

Power Red looks like a cross between Flambeau and Allis orange or a faded out Flambeau. A Flambeau era tractor painted Power Red in a tractor show line up, will stick out like a sore thumb but some people like it even if its wrong.
As others said, not available from Fiat...er..NewHolland...I mean CaseIH, but most automotive paint stores have a paint code for it.

Does that chart show the Black for a Black Night. I will need to find this out.

My thinking on painting a tractor or a piece of equipment. Cleaning it is the hard part.So paint it the right color look"s so much better.
 
Theres no color called black night on the chart. Just gloss black and non-glare black.

It wouldn't do for me to use Case paint. My local dealership only gets paint once a year and you have to pre-order it.
