O6059AB LA Front Wheel Seal??

John, are these the Timken type seals? The last ones for the 630 side gear I bought from NAPA. I thought were ridiculous at about $24 but not like that. Are they from Case because I bought one for the side gear early on maybe 4-5 years ago and they were about 1.5 times the NAPA price but nothing like $114.

The NAPA guys could read the number etched into the metal on the old one and crossed them over for me.

These don't cross anywhere's. They actually don't seal on the horozontal of the spindle, they seal on a vertical surface.

CASE still supplies them, but who wants to mortgage the farm for a pair of seals?? Their pricing structure on many parts is getting outragous, & they are obsoleting parts at a rapid rate. They put the price up, then no one buys them, then because of slow sales, they obsolete the part.

There is a $15.00 one you can use but the cross section is an h shape and you have to carefully cut the extended piece off. Not that difficult. I don't have the number but the seal is an odd size so the listings in the bearing catalog are fairly short if you just search the inside and outside sizes. I can try to find the number if it gets desperate.

I have looked for hours for the Case # A26991 front wheel seal alternative. I just cannot find one. NAPA thought they had it (SKF # 27430) but it was not it. Has anyone else found one?
