Here's my hoe drill a bit older and obviously Case built. What's interesting is the galvanized box was painted over and decaled from the factory. The wheels and decals are sand colored. Maybe one of the last Case built ???? |

| Brad, I'm not sure how I missed this post, but that's a very neat drill. I know how mad I would be if that happened to something I wanted! The guy that had my ED was supposed to keep it inside up in Canada, instead it was put out after about a month. So it spent nearly six months out in the Ontario acid rain. The paint was much brighter in the original pictures of it. Nothing I could do about him lying either. |

| Without advertising what I paid I'll just say somebody else wanted it as I paid twice what I thought it would have brought. But hey, thats what makes an auction! The owner fessed up to bending the hitch into a pretzel when he got too rough with it moving it for the sale. What he didn't own up to was the bent frame that "mustve been that way" even though the paint had fresh stress cracks in it and both transmissions had two gears each with half the teeth freshly busted off. Grrr. So unless I find a donor drill with the same gear ratios, I don't think it will be planting any time soon.I can't tell you how many times good old machinery I wanted turned into scrap two days before the sale. Usually from being liberated from the sod or trees in a not so gentle way. |
