Our son was released from Ross Heart Hospital at Ohio State this Friday night. After lots of testing on his heart and brain, it was found that his heart is fine, earlier in diagnosis he was shown to have thickening of the heart muscle and our only options appreared to be heart surgery of some kind. Some may remember he's only 22 yr's old. Well that was good news for sure, but then we got the news of what he really has. It's called Vasovagal Syncope. Layman's terms - uncontrolled fainting. His brain scans shown he's fine, and blood flow is good to. Something in his brain is telling the heart what to do, but Doctor's don't know what is causing it, and told us there was nothing they could do for Adam, and he would have to live with it. Gave us some seizure pills, salt tablets, and pills for his headaches. Wife and I feel helpless. We can't begin to thank all those in person whom sent support our way and will continue too, but please know this that we appreciate it more than you know. It gives us piece of mind to have so many that don't know us, support us in our time of need. Wife wants me to pass along to all those CASE father's and mothers, hug your kids, spend time with them, and never ever let them forget how much you love them. Sorry for long post, but THANK YOU again. Mike and Joely
