What year is it? On early models the pump was driven off the torque limiter plate which can fail, the spring center can go bad and the shaft driving the pump stop. The pump also could have a complete meltdown internally. There is a suction screen on the bottom of the pto housing accessable only after removing the complete pto housing, I have seen dirty ones but it would be almost unconcievable to be plugged that completely. Orings at the pump suction pipe, not likely but...... Although not a good thing , plugged filters will not keep oil from getting to where it belongs as there are filter bypass cartridges in each filter ( assuming its a powershift) that will open and allow unfiltered oil to go through. Just read casecollectors post and am ammending mine in response. The fact that he lost steering and brakes also suggests a total pump failure. No steering and brake return will seriousl degrade powershifting as the steering return returns to sump through the 75 psi lube pressure regulator which operates the reverse lockout spool which has lands which also direct clutching oil flow.
