Well the wifey and I are gaining, on getting our stuff out of mothballs, I think. Here is some of the stuff that we have out on all new walls and cabnets to collect dust before our eyes now. LOL. I have a passion for wood working and the wifey loves to do finish carpentry, including fine sanding, painting, staining, and sealing. The cabnit top in the one pic. is Ash boarde that Dad sawed and stored away in a barn on the farm, and I have been starting to use now for cabentry.
I have a well equiped wood working shop in my cellar. Had a couple more pics. to post, but I must have over done my gigs? message.

WOW! That is quite a collection. I have a question for you. Have you got or ever seen a CASE 900B model tractor. Case dealer here told me they never made one. Len

I can't wait to show this to my wife, I believe we have some redecorating to do. That is a very nice collection. Great job, thanks, Rod.

Awesome collection, for sure! I've got some of the same things, like old crocks/saws/tools/bottles and such, but not any of the Case stuff you have. Great job.

Loren,

Len,
Glad you asked. This is a project 900B project that I started 15yrs+ ago. To my knowledge no toy mfg. made a 900B This hood assy. came from Dakota Toys, and the carcas is a mod 600, cut down and modified. This project is on my winter "todo" list, anong with a 430, and 2470, all of which were never produced in 1/16 scale to my knowledge. I have a good start on the 2470, frame wise, just need to make the driveline, carve the engine out of balsa wood, and form the sheetmetal work. LOL. I'm retired and have all winter. when we get the house in order.HeHe.

PS sorry for the dust on it, just found it in my stuff a couple of days ago. Work in Progress, LOL

Nick,
Bottom LH corner of the Lettered Tractor display. Also have another with front end broke off. Both are non fender models. The one on the shelf , I had as a kid. I also have the 2B plow that came with it, but haven't found the box it is in. The manure spreader and wagon that came in the set are long gone, damit.

What is your charge for tours??

Beautiful, would love to spend a few hours looking at all your stuff. Reminds me of the time I spent at our local Case dealership when Dad was getting parts or just visiting. Our dealer always had models, signs and such around his parts counter/show room.

When Stihl power tools began to get popular a while back I remembered that his dealership was tyhe first place I had seen that name. He handled Stihl saws. Not a chain saw, it actually was about the size of a conventional chain saw but had a reciprocating blade. I keep looking for one on eBay but have never seen one like I first saw in the late 50s/early 60s.

Sorry for the ramble. Again, beautiful collection!!

Jim

Thanks! I had also talked to Dakota toys and they said none made. That one you are making is looking close to one. I don't have any toys but have a couple old 900B tractors I no longer use.

I can only say it looks wonderful, its such a tribute to your family and yourself, but also the J.I.Case Co.I could see myself spending alot of time there, and just admiring your accomplishments. Thanks for showing us

It is a scratch built 1470. here is the Amco F15 disc, and the 1200 that I also scratch built
Loren
