930 gas manifold question/help needed

I have a 930 Gas CK that was converted to LP using a century conversion kit.

When the conversion was done the exhaust manifold was broken and a piece welded over the area that connects to the gas intake manifold to the exhaust manifold so that the 2 DO NOT connect.

The exhaust manifolds has now gone bad and I was going to replace it with a new exhaust manifold from a diesel that I all ready have.

I know the mounting holes are different between a gas and diesel manifold and I know the diesel has a different pattern for the manifold hold down studs.

I was planning on drilling new holes in the Diesel manifold and making the slight alterations to make the diesel manifold work.

What I didn’t realize is the diesel manifold gaskets were different than the gas.

It seems the diesel manifold set has a larger opening for the air intake than what is on a gas tractor.

So where can I get a set of gas manifold gaskets for a 930 CK.

I also need to know if anyone has tried converting a 401 Diesel exhaust manifold to work on a 377 gas and what kind of problems you have encountered.

My fear is I wont have the necessary clearance between the diesel exhaust manifold and the old gas intake manifold.

(It appears the gas exhaust manifold is smaller than the diesel exhaust manifold)

I don’t want to spend the $80-90 for a set of case manifold gaskets for a 377 gas to only find out the diesel manifold wont work

I can not find an after market set of manifold gaskets for 377 gas.

Will I be forced to pay Case prices for a set of manifold gaskets to make this work, if it can be made to work??

Any suggestions are welcome

I am aware the LP tractors do not use a heat riser.

Have you ever used a diesel manifold on a gas to LP conversion?
