while plantingwheat in a 6 acre punchbowl type of field the axle blox on the 1070 have walked over and allowed the tire to start contacting the cab ,.. poor threads on the bolt and nut on one of the 4 bolts ,.and in order to swap out the bolt i have to remove a ton of 23.1x30 full fluided tire and weights by myself .arrrghh..!!!.instead ,,gonna try this ...loosen the other 3 bolts , the farm store a mile south of me should have a locking nut that i hope to instal over another new nut on the offending bolt .. was thinkin about addin a peice of sandpaper between blox and axle shaft,, while other bolts loose, gonna titen the bad bolt nearly tite before titen the other 3 ,,to keep the wheel from contacting cab again , i will split a 3 inch plastic pipe and installon the put hose clamps around the axle and pipe ,, but i worry that the pipe will gouge out the axle seal if it ever gets to shoving in ,, so maybe i should forget pipe ??

Does your 1070 have the 8 bolt wheels that bolt on the hub? With a loader or hoist the wheel and tire would be heavy but do able. Lining studs make going on much easier. I have done the double nut trick with stripped threads before and it worked fine. A deep well socket that tightens both nuts at the same time works best.
