Lets see your plowing tractors

I thought it might be a nice post to let everyone post a pic or two of their tractors with plows hooked to them turning some dirt.

Here is my 1070 I bought this spring and this is the first hard work it has done in 20 years and the first year it has run in over 15.

Lets see some of yours.

here are a few of mine in the dirt, I do not plow much any more so I really do not have many pics so I threw in some lit scans also, the "SC" plowing is my good friend Randall Kastel at a plow day in MI cnt

CNT, what tractor is in the lit picture with the 3 bottom, 530?, AND what plow is that behind your 200b? I am looking for a 3 btm for my 630 and I am thinking BER or MA/MTA. What other mounted plows are there? I was wanting a BER but then thinking about repointing the shares since there are no old time blacksmiths in my area (and I doubt replament points are available any more) has me leaning toward a plow with throw away shears.

Here are some pics of my 500. I loved to plow with that tractor. Got stupid and traded it. The other is my brother on his SC with my one bottom Centennial.

Here's my 155 L&G pulling a 10" Brinly a couple of weeks ago, my SC pulling the 2-14 Centennial at our club show in Sept. and the CC hooked to the Centennial. Didn't get a shot of it pulling.

Thanks, I bought it not running and was banged up pretty bad. I have replaced the hood and grill, all new cables, I still have a few seals to replace but all in all it was a good buy. I grew up driving a 1070 likes yours with a cab. I like yours also.

A 1935 RC pulling 2-14s in hard ground. It was hard enough that the guys with WC Allis's gave up because of lack of traction.
1951 SC and plow with fresh paint job. It went plowing about 5 minutes after the picture.

Apparently I am always on the tractor. It was hard to find other pictures.

Plowing the garden this past spring. It's clay ground and was pretty hard.

Here are the pics I could find with any kind of plow on a Case tractor.

and here is a link to a Youtube video of the 870 when she was new in 1970 being driven by the girl I married that fall. Celebrated 42 years yesterday. Just pulled the 870 in the shop she gets a miss when she is warm. Sounds like a valve adjusted too tight.

There are nine weights on the front of that 830, plus the starter weight, for a total of 938 lbs. The manual says ten is the limit, I was afraid to mount all ten for fear I might crack the housing. With the plow raised, the tractor was still light in the front. You could bring up the front end if you were too quick with the clutch. I have since added a full set of cover boards to the plow, so it weighs close to 2,000 lbs now. She pulled it fine, it's just a lot of weight back there.

All great pictures. That CC on rubber looked just like dads. Looking at all them pictures of plows I do not see one with a back wheel like dads had. He bought a new 3-14 Case plow in 48 to pull with his CC. The furrow wheel was rubber and tappered (or three sided you might say). It had steel on the front. Growing up I always wondered if I plowed more acres with that plow then dad did.
