It would appear you have a 1959 410B, which is the standard /utility version of the 400B. There were just under 900 of them made during the 2 year production run from 1958-1959.

Is it known as a good tractor and maybe what transmission it would have?

It's a great little tractor, which likely (no absolutes with 60 year old Case tractors), has a dual range, 4-speed transmission (8 forward and 2 reverse gears) behind the Case-o-Matic clutch. Unless it has been swapped out, It has a very reliable 148 ci engine. If it has a PTO, it will be of the independent variety... I don't recognize the loader. It's likely an aftermarket brand. Other options included an eagle hitch, power steering and remote hydraulics.

Nice find. Good luck
