Thanks for all the info. I'm not finding a new Eaton pump replacement for my 310B. If anyone knows of a new one, original part# G45055, I'd be interested. I have located a new gear driven; I'll find out whether it is a Barnes, original part# G45157, or Char-Lynn, original part# G45231, although, from the specs, either should do. I pulled the part#'s from a Case 300B-400B Parts Catalog, revised 1960. |

| | The Barnes, now part of Eaton, pump is no longer available as it was a Case contract pump. Some parts are still available but the case specific PS parts are not. I dealt via email with a very nice customer service lady at Eaton that sent me exploded parts diagrams of two versions of this pump with available/nonavailable marked on the parts list for the newer version. I have these parts diagrams and parts list as pdf files, should I put these up in the YTMag site (Case photos??) somewhere? Is this of universal interest to those of us with the Charlynn steering system using the Barnes pump? 500b/600b and 530/630 ag tractors used different PS system, pump AND power assist units. Jim |
