Don't forget to vote..........1st time I was old enough to vote went with mom & dad took oh maybe 10 minutes. Today I know I will take aleast an hour or so to voice my opinon. So when you are standing in line today remember we live in a great country and its are right to vote!! God Bless

Line? an HOUR???? You must be living in the wrong part of the world. Where I live, It is like walking into Cheers, where everyone would yell NORM!!!

No one waits for more than 30 seconds. They know your name(but by new PA law will have to see Photo ID), where you live, your parents name's and which of the 2 local restaurants you had breakfast at. Might even get pictures of the 10 point buck that the 85 year old election official(woman) just killed with her bow.

I'll surely get quizzed about how the harvest went. How the new to me combine performed, Probably have someone else ask me to do some custom work.

Same for me. That's the beauty of living in the sticks. I spend more time catching up with people and updating them on every little things my kids and grandkids have done than voting. Of course, it takes a fire truck or ambulance 20-30 minutes to get out here. That's the price you pay.

Actually, my hat is off to anyone that has to wait in a line to vote. I mean the ones not getting paid to vote...

Our polls open at 10 AM go till 8 PM, will normally average 35 total voters, do the math. Yes its a slow day, the election officials will play cards to pass the time. Rod.

I just walked in a voted where I live, but I know a guy in Norfolk, VA that stood in line for 3.5 hours this morning. He said the line was even longer when he came out.

Voted a little over a week ago in the middle of the day during business hours. Polling place was packed. Never seen it like that before. Kansas City suburb on the Kansas side of the state line. Not a nnalert in to be found....

Found out later that both of the registered Kansas nnalert were busy protesting in Missouri that day...

Gregg,
The wifey and I went and voted about 9:00AM.in our small town. We had always gone around 6:pM and were usually about #170 plus or minus at that time of day. Today we were #132 and 133 at that time, in the morning.
Loren.
