This is the last "30" series we could get a late 1969 930, we had several "70" series tractors on the lot when it came in, it was sold to a man and he put 327 hrs on it then purchased another farm and decided he needed 4wd power and ordered a new 1470 from us, Red the man who bought this 930 at that time had just bought his farm/ranch he still lives on today has owned it ever since and I have been trying to get it back from him ever since and today i finally went and made a trade to him for it, it sounds like I will be getting a very nice 1975 1370 from him soon also, he is looking for the original ops manual for it and is sure he has it still, this tractor was so late in production we could not get a factory cab with it so we had mounted this Egging Cab from Nebraska on it, the tractor is in very good shape less than 100 hrs ago I had installed a new clutch, brakes and went through the injectors the ole girl runs like a swiss watch so this is my "BIG" one for maybe my lift time, I can still see the transport truck bringing it into the dealership and it's return when it was brought back in for the 1470 trade and then around the yard for the summer until Red purchased it for his operation, I even have a super 8 movie with some footage of it infront of the shop, yes this tractor means a lot to me and I will treasure it always, another thing to note this is the original muffler and rain cap, I will also be putting different rear tires on as well cnt tom

Well Tom she looks pretty nice for her age. Congrates on your deal. So is that 98 or 97 ??? hee hee. Thats one that got a good home. God Bless

Yes Tom,it isnt always do we get a chance to get something back we have wanted for years, gee I can think of only a few things I ever did,but enjoyed the history on this deal and seeing her come home, yes she is home with you.She will be under roof and home.
Thanks for sharing the story, always like happy endings.

Oh yes the most importent, she looks very very good, and you can tell she was cared for,not often will see a new "930"

Bro.
At about the same time frame you are talking, we had the opertunity to order several 1030s that were originally slated to go to Austrailia or NZ, and the deal fell through. The 1030s wete in a sea port in Texas. We took 3 truck loads -total of 9 tractors. They neted into us at about $7500 each including freight, plus 3 month terms. Some were 32s some 31s. all bar axles and adj. front axles Rear tire sizes ranged from 23.1X30s to 18.4X34/38s All were open station tractors, with those ugly elephant ear fenders LOL., and front tire sizes from 7.50 16s to 1100s We did a lot of tire swaping and the last buyer got what was left.

Looks to been in nice shape. Did you guys get tractors in row crop version also out there? How common was 3 pt. on these westerns out there? Lets see some 1370 pics!

Nice 932. I have the one my grandpa bought new in 1967. Wish it looked that nice. My grandpa traded it off when he bought a new 1175 in 1976. My dad later bought the 930 back after he bought my grandpa out in 1979, but not before someone ragged it out and put 70 series fenders on it. It still pulls like a freight train. I plan to restore it someday. It will be a big job. Congrats on your fine purchase.

glad that the deal worked out. I've been working on a deal with a 1030 set up just like your 930.its been setting in town for about 10 years.maybe there is hope to get it yet!!!

Congrats Nutty, good ones are worth the wait and that was a heck of a wait. Are you looking for something special when you reach no. 100, soon you'll be there. Maybe throw a big party and invite the YT gang, hint, hint, Rod.

Being that is a special tractor do you think that the powers that be will let you put it in the living room? Just kidding> Good looking Case! Len

good looking old tractor, i really like the western style and that one has a three point ,they are hard to find in ky , one question the right rear tire ,what kind of rare beast is that thanks for the pictures, i was also wondering are there any phesents in your area tom

sounds like a great idea Rod but do I have to wait until I reach 100?? I think we need to get our heads together and think of some thing to do cnt tom

20.8 X 38's will make it look like a real tractor. They fill the fenders so they do not look out of place. With the duals on it will almost float. That is what is on my 930, and with the 7.50 X 18's on the front the hood is just level. You will need to add another step though.

no pheasants right around here that are not "planted" as we have too many fox and coyotes for them to last long, do know a place up the road that has paid hunting of them, the tire was a long time hold over at a tire shop, it is new but as you can see very old all it has done is went from the field to the shed where she was stored the last 6 years or so, I will be putting different ones on it by spring, and although I do agree with hte comment it would look better with 38" rubber I will keep it stock and feel at our elevation the 38" rubber would gear her up too much and cause a possible power loss, I know for a fact she pulls very well with this tire set up cnt

Congratulations CNT,
I enjoyed your story about this tractor. Sure looks to be in great condition. Thanks for sharing the pics. Best of luck with the ol' girl.

thanks Dan thelook in the mans eyes when she started and I drove her on the trailer was worth the long wait, and yes he takes real good care of his equipment and it shows may be hard for some to see it in these pics but this tractor is very close to the original condition and I will enjoy the past memories when running her again in the field cnt tom

Bill that is a lever he made to turn off/on the pto with when his round baler would not tie right so he didn't have to climb in the xcab to see if the tie would start, it will be coming off cnt

I actually just bought it last night on ebay, so that's not my pic. I like local Kansas and Nebraska Case history like that. I'll scan it and send it all to you when it comes. I think it covers wipers, radios, and air conditioning as well.

sounds great thank you, this cab has a blower windshield wiper and dome light, the wiper and dome light work now I think the blower has a bad connection at the fuse cnt
