Favorite tractor day is tomorrow. Been thinkin bout it all week and can't decide. Now what? And don't even get started on implements, which are my faves anyway.

Jon,how about the combines,,,I would so love to pull my little "A6" into a field of wheat or oats,or flax,or.......But the day will come.

Jon,
You could post a pic or your "Gray Ghost that your butt is in most of the time. It puts food on your table and pays the bills.LOL
I have been complentating this also, as to what one tractor is my favorite. You have seen my collection, and narrowed it down to the 300RN, the 440 Tug, and the 430 Turbo. The 300RN is real handy, with the Case 3pt. drawbar to move my trailers around the yard and in the woods skiding logs. The 440 tug I am always using to haul the wood trailers, not only hauling wood, but dirt and other stuff. It gets run a lot, also and the Hydrostatic steering is real nice for manuvering. The 430 Turbo is a great tractor to drive to Shows, and go on tractor rides with, and it is fun to watch people look and look to figure out if there is indeed one under the hood.
I guess tomarrow will be D Day

I agree with the combine thing, but the deal is fav tractor. This creats an isue for me because I have many favs depending on what I'm doing. And, does it have to be one we own, have owned, or just want?

Loren, the grey ghost and I have a love/hate relationship, so it won't qualify for this. lol.

Jon,
I thought you found a Cummins Tech. that was able to turn your lazy hunk of iron under the hood, into a Bear: Apparrently you're not churning the drive
tires yet.
Loren
Ps I had a diff. description of your Cummins, that it was a Pu--y CAT, but the forum would not let me post that.He He -- They must be CAT lovers. LOL

This is going to be a tough decision, I'm looking forward to seeing everyones choice. I would like to hear more info on Lorens 430 Turbo, but no ones going to let the cat out of the bag early, so we'll find out tomorrow if that is the #1 fav. Rod.

I did get it running good so we are currently on the love side, but that can change rather quickly. lol And the official designation for the cummins under the hood is "Cat Eater".

Nutty, Just think of it this way, if you were forced to get rid of all your CASE stuff except one thing, what would that one thing be. Maybe a combine, perhaps a 1660. I can picture you trying to hang on to the rest of the items as there being removed, I guess none of us would give up our CASE stuff without a fight, LOL, Rod.
