He told me that it has the welded type balancing gear on it. I have done a little searching on the NET and BOY where there are ones they are very costly !!! So, I am asking for the CASE people on this site for their help and expertise in his quest for one. Either a good used one or a new one reasonably priced, or a site whereby he may acquire one from a trustworthy party ??? Any help you kind folks may assist him with is very much appreciated ! They can weld up a bad journal and regrind it. We also had some welds fail on the balancer drive gears and were able to reweld and rebalance the cranks, although a bit pricy. If it is the large one, you are searching for hens teeth. My dad had the one in our 870 welded up in the 1980s after spinning #1 rd a couple times, not enough meat left to grind... It has been fine ever since. If you have the small journal crank there are more choices in donors. I have one here that is standard, but needs ground, Should clean at .010"/.010". [Reply]  [No Email]
