Somebody got a new toy, that should be a blast to play with when it's running. How do you move them around when their nonrunners? Rod.

she tows easy for this time we use the semi as he had a tail roll and bed mounted winch, to get it on the trailer we used the wich also and a snatch block chained to the trailer then winched it backwards up onto the folding goose neck trailer cnt

Okay, since you came out of the closet, I"ll admit I had a TD-6 for a few years not too long ago. And boy it was FUN!

I had a T-6 for resale a few years back I thought it was a little underpowered and the non-live hyd was not high on my list and was also slow, I hope this units Live hyd will work better, I do not think I will keep this one but hope I can make some money on it, all I really have in it is the trucking bill cnt

Shaould be a good toy for the farm. I always thought that IH made better agricultural equipment than they did construction equipment. I have an IH TD340 loader/backhoe that I should restore. It's been parked outdoors for a long time.

Boy that brings back memorys.I had a TD18 looked very simulair to yours.Question: Is this TD9 start on gas and switch to deisel?

Yes Tom it's the same engine as a WD-9.

That looks like a monster of a truck. Does that trailer lower down to load thing like combines?

Ron

Ron, yes the trailer has a folding gooseneck, another feature it has is you can lenthen the bed by another 10' or so and it has rollers built into the bed in several places it is used mainly for moving oil rig parts this trucking company moves them for Cyclone Drilling and they travel states from Texas to North Dakota and probly other states as well, you should see their Big winch trucks things are simply huge and beefy a good friend of mine owns the company and he also buys hay from me a pastures cows on me as well cnt

In that first picture, I was thinking that TD-9 looks lonely on that trailer. I would sure hate to truck from Texas to Wyoming with a daycab tractor, Pete or not. LOL

Bryce

Wish I had a way to get that out here to west MN.......I could put someting like that to work here for a few projects! Plus I've always wanted a dozer......tell ya what you sneak that out here to me and I wont tell the boys on the IH page that yer turning....

I had to replace one final drive and the injector pump, but once I got it running she did well. I had a big hole to fill and a driveway to build, and got that done, then sold it for about what I had in it. My labor is free, of course.

Mine had the hydraulic pump mounted on the front of the crank and had plenty of hydraulics.

I went through several used injector pumps before I got a good one - and I remember that one pump I got from a local wrecking yard had very little power. That pump design is very susceptible to water damage (from water in the fuel).

I"m wondering when you get it running what kind of trouble you will get into with it.
Nice looking TD9,we traded one in one time, and it had a cracked bull gear case,so I carefully started it,and drove it up on a bone yards truck.

Dan got her running in about a hour few odds and ends to take care of but the big thing is the RH steering clutch will not release not sure what that will take to fix cnt

no Jim I have had my fill of trucking at least a couple a million miles and I sure hope I never have to own or drive one again LOL the man who owns this one sure would like to get me to drive for him cnt
