You have the late PTO with the flat pin and scalloped washer if I am correct, I would not know why the button will not push in to release the washer. Is there pressure on it by any chance? Did you try putting something against it and gently tapping it. That PTO unit was the last of those series and if I am correct it has NO pins to pull, just push the button and turn the pto till it snaps back out in the scalloped washer. I wonder if someone has the capability of posting a pic of that unit?.

| mEl here is the adjustment procedure if you think a parts breakdown would be helpful I can do that also, my other info was incorrect as I was thinking these had two lock pins like the big brother tractors I do know the last time I adjusted one it took a bit to get the adjustment to turn hope this helps a little cnt |
