I know a few of you have been follwing my slow progress on the garage, will finish putting up the last of the "below tin" concrete board today and hopefully get started on the end framing and start installing the overhead doors, I am covering the "window" hole today, the tin damage you see came from the cheap tin beig ripped loose one night in 70mph gusts and I had to set the bucket of the 580 on it to keep it from being ripped totally off, the other "misalingment" of tin came from assembleing it on the uneven asphalt where we had the service this summer, wish I would have made a level surface to assemble on oh well she will be fine for me if some one doen't like it when they drive by I guess they need to look away LOL cnt

It looks fine to me, Tom. Like my Dad used to say "The only feller who never messed up anything, even a little bit, is the guy who never DID anything."

Tom ,
Looks like you are coming alone good ... was wondering { may-be you have said } How big is it ?? it looks pretty long ..
Are you putting a window in the opening . ?

HAVE a GREAT DAY ... mark

What is the snow load for that? I've seen those in smaller versions here but was thinking about a foot of snow would make a mess of it with the tin that way so it can't slide off.

Mark it is a 22' wide x 50' long and 13' to the bottom of the arch, I am putting in a 16' x 10' overhead door in each end with one walk in door on the East end still a lot to do on it but I am gaining cnt tom

jon, when I ordered them they said for my area snow load would be no problem, I hope they are right, I did make the concrete wall slope fairly steep to hopefully allow the snow to slide of the west end I have seen 22 x 24 ones here and so far they are still standing all I can do is wait and see cnt

You know that building is going to work so well you will have to build another one or so. lol Len

Tom, if keeps the weather off the seat!!!Thats what sheds are for. I think it looks pretty good to me. So who gets to move in??? hee hee Combines, tractors (hope the outside 700 gets in) nice job Tom. God Bless

If you are putting a 10 foot door in ...my guess there will be NO combine storage ... But I'm sure you have other stuff to put inside .. LOL ...
What are you going to lite it up with ?? I"m sure your not going to heat it .. are you ??

LOOKS GOOD ... mark

Mark, to be honest I may try to add to the west door as I bought three 16' x 8' doors so a 12' may just go in, I will be installing fluorescent lights as I have a stack of good used ones in the barn from a school remodel, and no am not really planning on heating it this is mainly for the wify to park in the east end and also my pickup will go next to hers, BUT the rest is mine LOL cnt

Nice work, guessing you can fill it up in about 10 minutes. With the work you did could this be the start of the Case Nutty construction crew, am sure a few of us could put you to work. lol Scott
