Sorry Michael. I'm not a God Fearing Man! Earth's Evolution, and how we treat it, will determine our future. We can control Mother Nature a small amount, but If I were you ,I would lay a solid foundation to producing your staples, become less relient on financial growth, and spiritual values, and hunker down to basics. You can pray all you want, but at this point in time , most people, go the grocery store to buy all their food. It's time you started studying/worshiping, the power of Mother Nature, so you can survive.

ACG, I consider you a good friend and am not calling you out, BUT to assume that something as complex and orderly as this creation and all that is in it is simply a result of a lightning bolt striking a pool of slime and orderly life starting and "evolving" to what we see every day around us, the beauty of the heavens on a clear dark nite, the beauty and wonder of a newborn, and many other examples of an orderly universe just shouts of the existance of a creator.
Evolution is like taking a typewriter apart, throwing it in a dryer and turning it on and coming back a few hours later and having a assembled working typewriter. Even then if that happened you would have to ask where the pieces originated from.

I couldn't disagree with you more! The first couple chapters of Genesis explains just how this Earth and nature came to be.
