I have found an SC VERY close to home that is an all fuel. I have never seen another with the extra tank in the hood like it. Are these a little less common or are they more common then I realize? The tractor is in very good shape tinwise. No pitting or rust thtu on the hood or fenders and there is NO dents anywhere. It is for sale and it would run with some gas dumped in the tank. Tires are a bit weather checked but holding air and the tread is good. Thinking about going to pick it up as the quoted price seems to me to good to pass up.

I have a 1945 model. What kind of condition is the manifold in? Does it have working shutters?

I didnt notice if it had shutters on or not. The manifold unfortunately looks like its ate away a bit around the heat valve. I am sure it's more than likely one manifold that is hard to come by? Don't know the year on it as I actually spotted it when I was delivering shingles for a customer of mine the other day. He shot me a number that I thought was reasonable. Having never seen a two fuel SC I thought I'd ask about how common they are first. For some reason when I saw it I just thought it would be a great tractor to have in the collection.

There is a guy in MD named George that has a machine shop that rebuilds the SC dual fuel manifolds. So if you end up with the tractor, you might be able to get the manifold repaired.

Let me try that again: George Miller (gmachine@aaahawk.com) The dual fuel manifold works with removable venturies that are inserted into the intake ports of the engine head.
