We have a Western Star tractor with a 500 hp Detroit wet system and trailer with a log loader .Shes got a couple small hydraulic leaks we gotta fix.Dont mind them around hear in the woods but they dont like it in the suburbsleaking all over their nice clean neighborhoods.Probably leave Mon or Tues for Mass. Several years back, I worked for a contractor who had a contract with CSX clearing the acess roads adjacent to the rails. Spent several 36 hr. periods in a 175 Michigan loader, and ended up so fare from home that it was cheaper to send a lowboy and truck it home than drive it. You ever had to drive a loader over a railroad tressel in an articuladed loader, and not slip off the tracks? That was a nail bitter for me. There was always a CSX chase truck with me, (rail capable). Looking back it was a great experience, that not many have done. Loren [Reply]  [No Email]
