I've done some searching for replacement valve seats but haven't hit on anything. I have one that is badly pitted. (124 engine, vt-148 head) I'm thinking this must be a common problem so what have others done? Has anyone found another common manufacturer seat and valve that will fit?Mike |

| My SBI catalog shows the seat dimensions of 1.087 inside,1.348 outside,.200 depth.Don"t know if that is a stock replacement, but worth checking some measurements. |

| Most need to be custom fit now days. The old stock seats were soft and needed grinding frequently. Todays seats are hard and last a lifetime. Any good automotive machine shop will be able to fix you up. Do all 8 while you are in there and get the protrusion all the same. |
