My 830 kinda wandered with the wide front. Now with the narrow it's almost undrivable on gravel roads. Any tips? I thought it was in the tie rods but its worse with the narrow. Big Sal |

| In addition to the U-joint already mentioned, there are several more in the steering column and on the side of the engine. There are also a couple of bushings in the steering column. A little play here, a bit of slop there all adds up to create a big wobble!!! |

| Check the u-joint under the lower radiator hose on left side of tractor. If it is shot, it will have a lot of play in the steering. |

| There ia a set screw with a jam nut on manual steering tractors, that would adjust the engagement of the worm gear and rack, to eliminate free play. Loren |
