Does anyone know where to source a reasonably priced hydraulic filter for the backhoe system on a 430 Case. The backhoe is a model 21 and the filter should be part #R2799, which supersedes part #D21008. The dealer wants $87 for a new one and doesn't have it in stock.
In the alternative, could we wrap the old cartridge filter with something like air cleaner foam or ??? to strain out any pieces that might otherwise get through the somewhat damaged mesh of the old filter? Thanks!!!!
