I found an interesting problem on our 3294 today. When I turn it on ALL the lights and electronic gauges on the display flicker on and off. It looks like the computer in it has gone nuts! The gauges seem to work though because between the flickering you can catch a glimpse of things like the correct fuel level and rpms displayed. Also, like any good electronic bug, it doesn't act up al the time... just most of it. I checked the battery connections and the alt belt and they are both good and I have plenty of power. Any idea where I should start on this one? Thanks. |

| Got it! We checked a bunch of the connections with no luck. Finally ended up pulling the dash out. Played with one of the connections on the back and it fixed it. Sent Grandpa out to chisel plow with it and he didn't have any trouble... at least not with the tractor anyway. The soil is so dry and hard its a battle just to get the chisel plow in the ground at times. Thanks for the help! |

| Start by checking the ground wires. By now they could be getting loose or coroded. Look for the cab to frame ground and there should be a ground for the dash too. You could also try running a new ground from the frame or battery to the dash gage cluster. |
