930CK '64 wheel tread widening?

Hi

Can the wheels be reversed to give a wider stance/tread on the "64 930CK"s?

Just by looking at the parts manual, and the tractor itself, it looks doable.

I"d like to get a little more distance between the rears to straddle the hay windrow better.

Can't be reversed as the axle is tapered. they are a standard tread tractor, nonadjustable.

Can the rims be flipped so the ridge is on the inside?

that would gain about 6 inches....

No, the rim uses the cast center as the backstop for the rim. Where the wheel locks are only gives one option for the rims to fit in place.

Use rim mounted duals, take off the inside tire and you have a wide stance. BUT be prepared to break axles as it will do that over and over again. From 500 to 930 six speed , if dualed it will break axles.
