Hi Group, I am looking for a radiator. I live in southern Michigan. What's the odds of finding a decent used one ? Thanks |

The old radiators had a seam down each tube which presents a leak problem. Just buy a new radiator and forget about radiator troubles. The new radiators have solid wall tubes with no seams. ---Derrol in Texas---

Beware, there are new four-row core radiators that have small ovals--- thus a thin, undercapacity radiator. Check and be sure the four rows of ovals are the large, standard size ovals.

Most of the radiators are bad or plugged up. You would be better off getting a new core. Don L has them along with the gaskets. Anybody can switch them out (after getting the bolts loose).

Aftermarket Cores are available, if your tanks are good.
