Topic: Late SC Case engine parts

Looking at a 54 foot clutch sc case with a stuck engine. I heard sleeves and pistons were not avaible for these engine anymore. Is this correct? How about "used" sleeves from a donor engine? is that an exceptable repair, I want the block s/n to match the dash s/n. thank you

| I know where there is a 53 or 54 parts tractor near me in MI. I bought some parts from the owner yesterday, and the engine is there. Send me an email if you are interested and I will put you in touch with the owner.

| Everything except the sleeves are available for that engine. If the old sleeves are not broken, they can be sleeved on the inside with a dry sleeve. The inside of the old sleeve is lightly bored, & a dry sleeve is pressed in.
