I have a 885 david brown diesel tractor, and by mistake i let run out of diesel.What is the the best method or way to start it up again. What do i have to do to get it going ? Thanks George |

| Open the vents on the top of your fuel filters, prime till fuel comes out. Close vents.
Open the vent or vents on the side of you injector pump(8mm or 5/16 wrench). Prime till fuel comes out. Close vents.
If your have a healthy engine it should start within 30 seconds of cranking.
If your engine is less than perfect, you may have to crack the lines(big nut on the side of the injector, 5/8" wrench) at the injectors and crank til fuel comes out. Tighten the lines.
Before you start bleeding it, it would be a good time to change your fuel filters. |

| There's a section in your owner's manual on how to bleed the fuel system, or as the English call it "venting." |
