Case 450C dozer w/six way blade

Anybody have an idea what year this dozer is? It is about 200 miles from me. Also any guesses what is wrong with the left drive? No sure if I want to bid on it or not, may try to call and get more info on it.

with out a serial # all I can tell you is they made the 450C from 1983-1993 as to the locking up my guess is gear/brg damage and a piece is getting into the gears locking it up, if the hrs are right that is quite a few but if the price stays down repairs should not be totally out of line, at a auction last year a 1975 450 with 6 way,ripper and Sims cab in very good shape sold for under 10,000

Mid to late 80's or very early 90's model. The sprocket might be trying to ride up out of the track link and locking it up, or it's got a bull/worm gear bad?

Well when you add in the sales tax and other charges it sold for $7489.+. Out of my price range. I could never get anyone to answer the phone or return my calls.
