| it could probably be the planetary drive gear. this is the mechanism between the hydraulic motor and the drive sprocket.my case 1845 has the same problem. i am looking for a used planetary gear if anyone can help me. |

| Thanks Tom. There is no change in engine speed like there is any pressure to the motor. So I'll check it out the way you say. |

| sorry been tied up, how I check to see if it is mechanical is raise the left side off the ground and try turning wheels by hand, you never said if when you stroke the LH control lever if you hear any change in sound like the pump and motor are functioning? if the wheels will free wheel you have a problem like I described before if they are not and you can not tell if sound changes I would take off a line to the drive motor and stroke the LH steering lever and see if you have oil flow, if you don't have oil flow check pump for that side and or valve, if you have flow my guess is problem in drive motor, either hyd or mechanical |
