Case 430 deisel. When purchased would slip in higher gears but worked fine in lower gears. Now won't hardly move in low gear and recently the eagle hitch will only go up slowly even with no load. Help!! |

| Check the clutch housing for oil dripping out. Hydraulic oil should be clean, engine oil should match the dipstick. The seals on the pump drive can leak and cause the clutch to slip. |

| | Sounds like one of your two clutches not holding. Adjust the hand clutch first. It should take 65 lbs of pressure to engage the hand clutch. It should snap over center when engaged. If that doesn't solve the problem, you'll need to split the tractor to access the main clutch. Have you checked the hydraulic fluid level in the torque tube? I doubt the two issues are interrelated. |

| Joe has hit it spot on . Adjust the hand clutch first, more than likely your problem, and then If that doesn't cure the problem , the master clutch on the engine flywheel, would be the problem. Loren |
