Has anyone tried putting a turbo on a 188 Diesel? Im wanting to put one on my 570. Not really for a major power gain, but just to be different and sound good. Not planning on running much boost. |

I have spent an hr. tring to bring up the folder in my compuker of pics with the hood off my 430T with no luck. For now you will have to live with a view from the seat with the hood on. I drove it to and back from a local tractor show and parade, 11.5 miles from me yesterday. I will try to post some pics this week, of the setup under the hood. I'm a pretty decent welder and the whole setup is fabed. I haven't dynoed it but, the way it runs I'm thinking 60plus hp. It is a triple range, and will do 33mph up hill and down on the road, sporting a set of 14.9X26 rears off a 660 combine. The timing is advanced a bit and it's governed at 2450rpm.

I will take anything I can get. My main question are what did the come off of and how you did the oil supply and return?

Did that engine ever come with a turbo? Which manifold do you have?

Some 207 ci had a turbo option. That is what I have. Made for a very short while on the industial side. Like a 580C or so. Cummins was right after that. Don L.
