Case 930 hyd pressure test

If I connected a pressure gauge to one of the quick couplers @ the rear of the tractor and activated the appropriate hyd lever, would this be an accurate test of available hydraulilc pressure? What is the specification? Is there a better way to test it. The reason I'm asking is the loader on my 930 reacts slowly, fluid level is good.

It would tell you what the stall pressure of the relief valve is which should be 1700-1900psi on draft-o-matic tractors but it gives you no indication of flow in gallons per minute. If you can't make that much pressure you could try shimming the relief and if that doesn't help either you have a supply problem to the pump or it is worn and bypassing internally.
