I wanted to check with you guys and see what I should/could use in my Case 440. In the differential case with the dipstick that is under you on the seat can I use http://www.tractorsupply.com/traveller-reg-renew-tractor-fluid-5-gal--8060038 ?? In the transmission which is the dipstick is right infront of the F N R shifter what should I be using, The same thing? Thanks!

| Thanks for the insight. Just trying to figure out what works. I was under the understanding that the traveler universal transmission/hydraulic would work in the rear end.

| So is the Traveler Universal not heavy enough to go in the rear end? I thought they had speced 90w at the time it was manufactured because it was the only thing at the time that worked. Now with the newer oils with the additives I thought you could use the new high tech oils. The Traveler Renew is speced as a replacement for the HY Tran.

| If your lube has the same specs. go for it. I'm an old Case guy and have two 440s I use Case lubes.

| Ep 85-90 in the rear end, Hytran Ultra in the torque tube.
