Been messing around with the 500 trying to get it to start without ether and get it to pull it"s own weight in 4th gear. Finally checked compression on #1 cyl and it was 300 psi.Didn"t bother checking the rest for I"m sure they are going to be close to that as well.Looks like I had better start searching for parts, and time.

| Been awhile but used to be able to get rings from Case. Might check to the right and see if yt offers anything. The 500 has to head numbers so check casting number with right head gaskets.
