| | Excellent Pics!!! Thank you so much. Cool looking tractor with a lot of really neat history behind it. I am very impressed with your collection. Just tonight, my wife was gripping about the stuff around our place with the classic, "What do we need all this stuff for" lament. I just showed her all your pictures and she said, "Don't even think about it." Some people just don't understand :) By the way, aren't you in Wyoming? My wife is from Manville Wyoming in Niobrara County Wyoming. Thanks again for the pics :) |

| | Tom - nice pics as always. What year is that DI? I have a '48 non-narrow DI that came pretty complete but without a grill or fenders. Is mine supposed to have the early full fenders like those that are on yours or the later ones (non-ribbed) like on an SC or DC? And what am I supposed to do for a grill - is it just expanded metal like that or is there an actual grill I need to locate? Thanks for your help. |

| the regular "DI" models had either no fenders or the clamshell type as fenders were a option only the "DI" Narrow's have the full "D" style fenders ( at least every one I have seen does ) because of how tight it is between the tires so as to keep your knees away from them would be my guess, on the grill all I have are expanded metal and I have three of them and a "SI" that is the same hope this answers your questions, I added a scan of a factory photo of a regular "DI" unit for you and here are some #'s on "DI NT" tractors 445 total units made 47 in the last year of proudction of which mine was made in 1952 cnt |

| Fry - check out Casenutty's post on a few pictures in the yard. He tells the history of this DI - it's pretty cool. Right now, post is showing on page two. (Plus, you get to see a bunch of his other stuff). |

| Thanks, Glen. I had looked at that post before everybody and their brother posted on it and before Tom posted all the other pics. |
