Can anyone tell me how to perform a hydraulic pump test on an 1175. I'm sure that I can do it, but i'm just not sure how it's done. |

| hold your thumb over the end of a garden hose, you have pressure but no flow,if you pressure check a hyd.system you may make pressure but still be low on gallons per minute, they are directly related that's why a flowrater should be used to test pressure versus flow |

| So basically the only thing that I have to do to perform a pump test is get a flowrater and hook it up to the outgoing outlet on the pump, right? |

| yes you need to check oilflow in gpm and see if it has flow when the flowrater is restricted ,a bad pump can dead head oil and make pressure but that doesn't mean that it is producing adequate flow |
