The following was posted in the J.I.C.C.A Facebook page. I thought I should share it.

To Whom It May Concern: A friend of mine just recently had his J.I. Case Eagle Statue stolen from his building. It had been in the family for many years and his father just passed away. I'm gathering all the details I can right now. Came from a small town in Oklahoma. I would appreciate any suggestions; help in getting it returned.

My father, dctom, had his barn broken into within a month of his passing. Whomever, stole his DC rear and front wheel weights, a combine gas tank, a manifold and who knows what else. It is very sad that this happens to these wonderful Case men and the families.

It is a shame people will take advantage of others during a loss of a loved one. My wife and I have made it a thing to house sit for the friend or neighbor while they attend the services of their loved one. We feel this is paying respect as well as if we were at the services.

seems to be a trend here some one dies and one or more of their so called friends goes in when they know they are gone ( rest of the family maybe during the funeral) and steals the valuable bird, my thoughts are they are going into some ones collection or into hiding to sell when the heat dies down sadly these jerks know the value, any one who has one should look into a way to mark them for future ways of idenifacation just a thought this sure po's me cnt

What a shame, a few idiots can screw things up for everyone else. If we where to possess one of those wonderful artifacts it would be great to display for all to enjoy. Now because of the fear of theft not many would be willing to do that and we certainly can't blame them. A Eagle watch is on. Rod.

Make sure to check all the local scrap buyers in the area. Let them know there is a reward for the eagle that is higher than the scrap price...... Here is CT all metal is removed or stolen and sold to the scrappers. If it is not set in concrete and weighing at least a ton...someone'll steal it
