Case 930 Injectors

The 930ck that I recently aquired has an audible noise coming from the #1 injector, I'd like to swap a injector from another cylinder to see if the noise moves with the injector or is associated with the cylinder. Are there any tips or tricks out there to make this a sucessful endeavor? Are the injectors from a 730 the same as those in a 930? Are there any good online sources for injectors?

Hello,

Yes the injectors are the same for a 930 and 730. I would also look at your valve lash that could be the noise you are hearing.

Moved the injectors around tonight, and the noise is still on cyl #1. I'm gonna order new copper washers for the injectors as some appear tobe leaking. Next step is to remove the valve cover and check the valve lash....fingers crossed!
