bought it at Weemans Land and Consignment in Marion South Dakota about 50 miles from where i live. they sold a spirit of 76 tractor there as well as some other nice case equipment

i believe it is an SO picker sheller. its comlete and i had it running today it does need repair on the clean grain elevator. the bottom of the sump is rusted out but nothing that cant be made or fixed. the DC is kinda my prize, i paid 400 bucks for it and its just a sweat heart. it is a nice pair. thanks everyone

thanks for the info, and yes i will post pics of this machine at work, i also have a nice case grain binder in good working order i will post those pics of it in action as well

That is quite a machine! And being pulled by a DC, just like in the brochure to boot. Would love to see pictures in action.

That sure is ugly looking corn in the brochure. Don

i was wondering if a person can still get decal for this picker sheller, if so where and if not i suppose i have to have them made, any input would be greaty appreciated

Brett,

Your local IH dealer won't have one but any good sign shop or printing shop can make you any decal you want and fairly reasonable too. Don

About 20 years ago my Dad bought one at farm sale, an hour or so drive from home. He pulled it home with a pickup and had a tough time. He was in unfamiliar territory, and turned the wrong way onto a one way street, and had to back it back out. Down the road he met another picker behind a pickup, and they had a tough time passing. Finally he got home, and pulled the phone wires off the house coming in the driveway. I remember playing on/around it, but I don't think he ever used it. He may have shelled a little ear corn with it, but it never went to the field and was scrapped later. I think I still have the operators manual.

Jason, it was good to bump into you at the farm sale Fri. and spend some time chatting Case stuff with you. Really nice to put a face on a forum guy. I have met a few besides your self, John Saeli, Doug Boll, Cliff S and maybe a couple others. You do your part keeping the Case heritage alive. God bless, mEl
