711B what size plow?

depending on soil type and condition of tractor you may want a plow as small as 3-14. Normally they should be able to pull 4-14.

If you found a good 3-16 i wouldn't pass it up unless you just want 4-14's

let us know what you decide maybe a picture

Case 800, same tractor only Case-o-matic 4-16 eagle hitch all
day long, downshift com in tough going. So 4-14,16 should be
no problem w good tires and weight. drag plow maybe 3-16
andgo up a gear.

On my clay, 4 anything is out of the question with my 811B, it might do 3/14's if I could find an Eagle hitch plow. I think it'll depend on the ground and conditions. Lets put it this way, I'm using 2/12 behind a 990 DB and that's all it wants. Your land and conditions make all the difference int he world.

A properly weighted 700 or 400 for that matter will with a properly adjusted 4 bottom eh fully mounted plow work in anything short of cement.

My 701B pulled 3 bottoms back when it was the big tractor on the farm next door (mid 60's). It was a mounted EH plow - no idea what size they were. This was a creek bottom farm - mostly gravel but probably some clay in places near the bottom of the hill.
