JI Case 210 or 300 tractor ?

I need help identifying a Case Tractor I bought.
It was made by JI Case. It was sold to me as a Case 300 tractor. After receiving it I found that someone hand painted 300 on the side of the hood. I later found a plate on the dash which had many coats of paint on it. After cleaning the plate off it was stamped 210 B-H. I assumed the tractor was misidentified until today when I stripped the paint off the side of the hood and found that at one time it had a factory decal 300 on it. This part of the hood looks original however the large piece on top looks like it had been modified from another tractor. Now for the facts. The tractor is 56 1/2" tall to the top of the steering wheel. It is about 76" center to center from front to back wheel. It has an overall length of 127 1/2". It has a 4 cylinder gas engine. The radiator cap protrudes above the hood as well as the breather to the valve cover and the gas cap. The front section of the hood with the headlights is solid metal with no holes cut into it for any access. The tractor has power steering that the reservoir is filled on the side of the engine. It has a Dual-Range Shuttle. It has a 4 speed transmission.

Hi Joe, I borrowed a camera and took a picture. I"ve already started with the body work on the tractor but I set the parts in place for the picture.

Thanks Tim, I was incline to believe it was a 200 series tractor. Someone probably used the sides from a 300 tractor. I was confused because anything on the tractor could have been added incorrectly. The plate on the dash was put on with screws instead of rivets.

Yep def a 210B. I have two, one with just the 21 model loader like yours and another with a 21 loader and 21 backhoe. Yours is nice because it has the 3 point hitch. Not alot of them had that. Rare tractor. Only around 350 made. Good luck on your restore!

As Zach81 said, you have a desirable little 210B. The shuttle transmission and eagle hitch are both nice features. You also have the 59 tin with only one door to loose compared to the 58 models which had three (the oil breather/fill and radiator cap are above the hood rather than below). It looks like someone covered up the tach hole on your original dash. The counter-clockwise turning tach that was used on the 200B is a unique size and is hard to find. Someone put a plate over that opening and put a more "standard" size gauge there instead.

There were a total of 381 210B's produce (178 in 1958 and 203 in 1959). You have a very nice example of the type.... good luck with your restoration.

The tag was put on with screws on my 310b-l, also. Something to think about....if you ever need to overhaul your engine (126 cu. inch) you can get sleeve/piston kits that will fit your block to make it a 148 cu. inch, like in the 310's. Some engine parts are pricey for the 126, apparently.
