56 Roundnose 310 Hand Clutch Adjustment?

The Service Manual describes the procedure for servicing the Hand Clutch but I am not clear on the process. Is the adjustment able to be completed while the unit is in the tractor or does it have to be removed from the tube? Has anyone done this? The tractor is blocked and can be split at the trans and engine if needed. but I am looking for the wisdom of experience.

Ralph, the clutch is adjusted in place. Go back to the link and review the orientation pics. Pull the triple range cover. Reach down in the oil, find the adjustment pins and adjust the over-center pull as described by Joe Young.

I've adjusted several and I am sure Joe Y. has has adjusted as many or more than I.
