I'm finishing up my current project which is a 1960 530C. The tractor had both Case-O-Matic gauges when I bought it, but both were junk and beyond repair. Locating functioning used or NOS gauges has not been fruitful, so I am contemplating trying to find non-Case temp and pressure gauges with numeric faces and without operating range or "red line" markings. If I am able to find "generic" gauges...I'll need to know operating ranges and limits.
I've found clutch pressure gauges for the 730C/830C, but they're marked wrong for the 400B, 600B, 530C and 630C tractors. The operating range on these tractors according to the service manuals for the "B" series tractors is 110 to 125 psi, and the 530C/630C service manual calls for 105 to 120 psi.
I've not been able to locate a Converter Temp gauge, nor can I find the "red Line" temperature spec in the service manuals. Does anyone know "not-to-exceed" or "red line" temp spec for Converter Temp on the 530C/630C tractors?
