looking for a manual for 1953 case tractor vac 5570314 engine #vt 148 4 cylinder firing order1342 also need carborater rebuild kit and a gas tank

Phyllis, under the "Marketplace" tab at top left is a link to manuals, and carb kits, as well. It's easy to find, just follow the prompts. I have a tank on a 49 VAC, if nobody else comes up with one. Where are you located?

Serial nr on the dash tag 5570314 is for a 1951 Case tractor. If it is a model VAC the factory stock engine was 124 cid, 4 cyl, firing order 1342. Look below the engine oil dipstick see if the block casting nr is VT328A, that is what it be.

If the carb looks like the one in the pic, get the nr off the tag. Napa carries or can order basic and intermediate kits. Normal factory carb as in the pic Marvel-Schebler TSX 114. MS TSX-597 & Zenith models 161J7 (outline 11106) & 161JX7 (outline 11506) are common.
