Case 1390 Reversible PTO shaft

Hello,

I just bought a Case 1390 equipped with a reversible PTO shaft. According to the Operator Manual, the 6 splines would be for 540 rpm implements and the 21 splines on the other end of the shaft would be for 1000 rpm implements.

Presently the output shaft low (540) is used and I can connect implement on 6 splines. My question is: Is possible to use the output shaft high (1000) and leaving the 6 splines to operate implements like snowblower?

I think what they mean by reversible is that there is only 1 pto outlet.When you install the shaft with the 6 spline end out, it's 540, turn it around and it's 1000
