CASE C wheels and clutch

I am working on my C, and I was wondering if any of you had a good method for removing the rear wheels without breaking anything? Tractor has been inside most of it's life so I do not think rust is an issue. Also, the clutch will not engage. If you stick a pry bar in the hand hole and push it will engage but not snap in. Where do you find parts for this clutch? The collar is adjusted in all the way, and the belt pulley brake is missing and the hand hole covers were off so I think someone was going to replace it and never finished it

To remove the rear wheels after the nut is loose, I made a heavy bar with 2 holes in it to put bolts through into the 2 threaded holes in the wheel. With the nut flush with the axle, tighten the 2 bolts up, then turn the big nut backwards until the tapered, keyed axle lets go. You might be able to do it with the 2 bolts but the big nut will put more force on the thing without possibly stripping the threads on the small bolts. You can put quite a lot of force on those 2 bolts if you work them evenly, they have quite a deep thread in the wheel. It's a pain to turn the big nut from behind the bar across the axle.
Good luck, mine came reasonably well. Bruce

When I removed my wheels to remove calcium and sandblast, I tried the two bolt method but it wouldn"t budge. I used the draw bar off a VA and chained it to the spokes and put a hydraulic jack between the bar and the end of the axle. I started with a 2 ton jack and ended up with a 12 ton. I had as much on the jack as I could get and still had to heat the wheel to get it off. When it let go it popped right off the axle. Don"t get in the way of it. Good Luck
